Lights of Vienna, headquartered in Guntramsdorf, just south of Vienna, is an Austrian lighting manufacturer with over 30 years of experience specializing in custom lighting solutions for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, mosques, yachts, and residences.

We are looking to expand our team and are seeking a dedicated individual who wishes to become a part of our company, starting as soon as possible.

Metalworker - (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

─       Assembly work, assembly according to drawings and installation instructions.

─       Execution of various locksmith activities.

─       Sheet metal processing activities (stainless steel, steel, aluminum).

─       Independent work in the workshop and on assembly sites.

─       Preparation of welding connections.

─       Grinding work on own components.

─       Surface finishing: grinding and polishing.

─       Self-responsible control of manufactured parts regarding required quality and quantity.

─       Operation, maintenance, and care of machinery and accessories.

─       Compliance with valid work and procedure instructions.

Your Skills

─       Completed vocational training in a metalworking company (e.g., metal shaper, sheet metal technician, metalworker, etc.).

─       Several years of practice/professional experience.

─       Experience in reading plans.

─       Knowledge of welding procedures is an advantage.

─       Knowledge of press brake machines is an advantage.

─       Technical understanding and manual dexterity.

─       Good German language skills.

─       Reliable, punctual, flexible.

─       Impeccable integrity.

─       Completed mandatory military or civil service.

─       Driver's license B and forklift license are advantages

For this interesting position, the monthly gross salary is €2,779.50 based on full-time employment (38.5 hrs/week) according to the Metal Trade Collective Agreement, with the willingness to overpay depending on qualifications and experience.
