Designer

After completing her studies in interior design and 3D design at the New Design University in St. Pölten, Karin Binder founded her studio, ka.ma interior design, in 2014. In addition to complete renovations and redesigning interiors, she has dedicated herself to lighting design. Her modular lighting creations as well as her interior designs have been honored with several awards, including the German Design Award, the ICONIC Award, and the BIG SEE Product Design Award.

Borosilicate glass tubes are becoming curved glass symbols.The simple basic shape allows countless variations in sizes, arrangements and combinations. It is also possible to place the elements in a circle to create a chandelier. The shimmering glass tubes are made to glow with an internal 360-degree LED strip. The glass colors can be chosen from countless colors as well as sandblasted glass.

The special changeability shapes, colors and arrangement options make these luminaires an allrounder and enable an individual combination of lighting moods. The interior light band can be renewed after the total lighting time and glass is a recyclable material.
