The magnificently imperialistic style hotel on Via Veneto first opened in 1906. Marked by its distinctive cupola and the two-story “Villa la Cupola” suite beneath it, LIGHTS of VIENNA worked closely with Michael Stelea, Karen Stelea, and their team at HDC Interior Architecture + Design, along with Irene Pansadoro. Together, we designed and developed highly bespoke light fittings for the ORVM-Bar inside the Excelsior Rome, including a beautiful large, five-tier entrance chandelier with dozens of filigree orange glass beads and metal rings in a fine-brushed finish.
